fantastic birthday trip!
natural pond exquisite tasting menu superb rooms fine location
i had a wonderful surprise birthday trip. i've stayed in many spa hotels, and this was the best. the rooms were superb. the location is fine. the spa facilities were fantastic. i particularly loved the natural pond. the food was amazing!!! we ate at the pass and had an exquisite tasting menu. we also had a delicious breakfast in the spa restaurant. it was all faultless.
the fire alarm went off at 2 am. i had to evacuate my room. i was with my two-year-old daughter and grandparents. no discount was given.

The reception staff were very friendly and professional. Our room was very roomy and the attention to detail added to our comfort. The bed had soft white linen sheets.
The service was not what it used to be! I waited over 20 minutes for a coffee order.

beautiful grounds polite staff attractive spa good food
The spa included four pools. The largest rhododendron exists in front of the hotel. The staff seemed polite. The hotel grounds were vast and beautiful. Staff were knowledgeable. I noticed a magical forest right next to the building. The food seemed very good. I appreciate the attentive service.
The hotel needs to improve WiFi. It works very poorly. This fact disappointed me.

Really good Anniversary Stay
amazing beef spacious suite really good spa
i had a wonderful break at this fantastic hotel. tom hamlet at camellia was the main attraction and the food was fantastic. the beef was amazing and likewise the desert options. the suite was spacious, well appointed with a large bathroom including bath and walk in shower. views over the grounds came with a comfortable large bed.
The additional lobster course was less excellent. That is a slight negative detail.

somewhat disappointing experience
lawn mowing loud guests
the breakfast service seemed quick.
I thought the spa experience fell short, considering all the hype. lawn mowing occurred right next to the jacuzzi, a real mood killer. some guests were constantly swearing loudly. There was a definite lack of relaxation due to that.
